NewsGrid
A bold WordPress block theme for newsrooms, magazines and media outlets.
About this theme
NewsGrid is a full-site-editing WordPress theme for newsrooms, magazines and media outlets, built entirely on core Gutenberg blocks — no build step, no page-builder dependency and no bundled JavaScript framework. It pairs a dramatic broadcast-control-room hero with an editorial serif headline face, breaking-news desk tiles, a newsroom-at-work photo split, a print-and-broadcast gallery, an editorial-standards list, a reader quote and a subscribe call-to-action. This edition publishes through the standard WordPress blog (posts, categories, tags, search) rather than a bespoke magazine grid or paywall: there is no subscriber paywall, comment moderation queue or push-notification system built in. Playfair Display and Source Sans 3 are bundled locally.
