Chama
A block theme for SACCOs, microfinance institutions and community savings groups.
About this theme
A community-passbook design in plain language: teal and paper, dotted-leader ledger rows, large tap targets. Loan products as cards, a working loan calculator (reducing balance, first payments, flat-rate comparison, TZS/KES/USD, printed assumptions), savings and joining pages, mobile-money repayment steps and channel table, branches table, an "Ask Umoja" chat, WhatsApp and a secure server-side enquiry form. Native core blocks, no page builder, no third-party requests, no inline scripts. Umoja SACCO is a fictional demo co-operative. All rates, limits, branches and terms are sample content, no licence or regulator is claimed, and photographs are illustrative stock. This is a WordPress block theme (full-site editing). The demo is a fictional business with sample content and stock photography; replace the contact details and text with your own.
