Pledges and gifts
A pledge on this website is a request to give. It becomes a gift when the trust has confirmed it and you have sent the money.
Restricted gifts
A gift for a named programme is used for that programme. If it is fully funded we will ask you before using it elsewhere.
Refunds
You may ask for a refund within 30 days of a gift if you made a mistake. Contact us and we will reply within one working day.
Unit costs
The costs shown next to each programme are indicative averages, not a promise that a gift of that size will pay for exactly that item.
Liability
Umoja Community Trust’s liability is limited to the amount of the gift, to the extent allowed by law.
