06 — Questions

Straight answers.

How long does installation take?

One to three days on site for most systems, after a survey and a written quote. Ground arrays for pumping take a little longer.

Will it work on cloudy days?

Yes, at reduced output. The estimator assumes an average across the year, and the battery covers evenings and short outages.

Can I run an air conditioner?

Daytime air conditioning is realistic on a Business system. Running it all night needs a much larger battery — we will tell you the cost honestly.

What happens in a long outage?

The battery supplies your critical loads for the backup hours you chose. Beyond that, solar recharges it the next day.

Do I need permission?

Rules vary by area and utility. For grid-connected systems we handle the notification and paperwork; standalone systems usually need none.

How do I keep the panels clean?

Rain does most of it. In dusty seasons an occasional rinse helps; the annual visit includes a proper clean and inspection.
