A warm meal and a safe place, every night
Haven supports people facing homelessness in our town with emergency shelter, hot food and practical help to find a home and a job. We rely on our community to keep the doors open.

A safe place to sleep
Twenty-four beds every night of the year, with a bed for anyone who needs one in severe weather.
Food and dignity
Hot meals, showers, laundry and a friendly face, with no questions asked at the door.
A route to a home
Caseworkers help people with housing applications, benefits, health care and finding work.

Made by neighbours
Everyone who cooks or serves at Haven is a volunteer, and many first came for a meal themselves. Ninety people give a few hours every week, and there is always a place at the table for one more.
I came in for a meal on a freezing night. Eight months later I have a flat, a job and my daughter comes to stay at weekends.
Help us keep the lights on
Every $12 provides a hot meal and a bed for someone tonight. Give once or every month.
