A hillside, not a brand.
Nyota Hills is a small estate in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. Coffee grows on the upper slopes between 1,780 and 1,950 metres; tea grows on the terraces below. We sell what the hill gives us, by lot, with the record of how it was grown.
We would rather send you three honest samples than one polished story. Ask for the lot code, the plot and the harvest date — they are on the bag, and we will tell you if a lot is not what you are looking for.
Sample estate profile — replace it with your own history, people and practice. We do not invent awards, certifications or press.
How we grow
- Selective picking: several passes, ripe cherry only
- Shade trees kept between the rows
- Wet-mill water settled and reused before it leaves the site
- Pickers paid per kilogram, weekly
- Every lot recorded from plot to bag
