Cherry to cup

From the branch to the bag, in five steps.

01

Picked ripe

Pickers make several passes through each block and take only fully red cherry. Unripe fruit stays on the branch for the next pass.

02

Sorted twice

Cherry is floated to remove light, damaged fruit, then sorted by hand again on the drying beds.

03

Dried slowly

Washed, honey and natural lots dry on raised beds for two to three weeks, turned through the day and shaded from midday sun and rain.

04

Rested and milled

Parchment coffee rests for about two months before hulling, grading by size and density, and a final hand sort.

05

Roasted to order

Green coffee ships as it is, or we roast it the week you order and pack it with the roast date on the label.

Sample process — replace it with how your estate really works.

Traceability

Every bag has a lot code.

Type the code printed on your bag and see where the coffee or tea was grown, how it was processed and when it was harvested. It works on any device, without an account.

The lot table behind this is sample data; on a real estate it is the same record your buyers and importers receive.
