About

A small school that knows every child, and how we keep them safe.

A teacher stands with a circle of young children holding hands in a playground edged with painted yellow, green and red tyres

Who we are

A small school that knows every child.

Mwangaza was started by teachers who wanted a school where nobody is a number. Classes stay small, the head teacher greets families at the gate, and parents are welcome to ask questions at any time.

Sample school story — replace it with your own. Mwangaza is fictional; we do not invent inspection results, rankings, awards or staff names.

Safeguarding

Safe and looked after.

Sample policies — replace them with your school’s real ones.

  • Child protection. A named lead, a written policy and annual staff training.
  • Safe recruitment. References and background checks for every adult who works with children.
  • Collection. Children go home only with an authorised adult, checked against a list.
  • Health. A first-aid room, a trained first-aider and a record of allergies and medicines.
  • Behaviour. Clear, kind rules, applied fairly, and never physical punishment.
  • Visitors. Everyone signs in and wears a badge.
