Experiences

Time to stay with what you find.

Small groups and unhurried guides. Two guided activities a day are included; here is what they can be.

Two giraffes crossing a dirt road in front of a parked safari vehicle

Game drives

Open-sided vehicles, three rows, window seats for everyone. Your guide sets the pace: an hour with a single family of elephants is normal here.

3–4 hours · up to 4 guests per vehicle · morning or afternoon

A single giraffe standing in green grassland under a wide sky

Walking safaris

On foot with a guide and an armed ranger, reading tracks, dung and birdsong. Slower and closer than any drive, and less about big animals than about the whole place.

2–3 hours · maximum 4 guests · minimum age 12

A family of elephants resting in the shade of an acacia tree

Night drives

A red-filtered spotlight, and a different cast: genets, civets, owls, sometimes a leopard. Not every night — the guides decide by conditions.

2 hours · from 20:00 · weather and permits permitting

A dinner table set with glasses and folded napkins beside a lantern

Bush dinner

One evening of your stay, dinner is served away from camp: a table, lanterns and a fire, with the chef and a small team. Arranged by request and weather.

Two hours · included once per stay of three nights or more

Also on request

  • Bird and plant walks with a specialist guide
  • Photography drives with a longer stop at each sighting
  • A hosted visit to a neighbouring village — a fee goes to the host family

How we guide

We keep distance from animals, never crowd a sighting and turn back if an animal shows stress. If a guide asks you to be still or leave, that is the whole conversation.
